I am selling a used vintage Trek 750. This is a 1995 model. The bicycle is in very good shape and was just overhauled/ rebuilt with many new parts. It rides like a new bike!
New parts:
professionally rebuilt front wheel - new shimano 105 hub, wheel smith stainless steel spokes, and the original rim
new headset
new handle bar grips
new shimano 7 speed rapid fire shift levers
new Shimano crank set and bottom bracket - octalink model
newer rear tire
newer Tektro brake levers
new TektroV - brake calipers and pads
all new brake housing and cables
all new derailleur housing and cables
The rear derailleur, pedals, and the rear hub have been overhauled. The front derailleur, chain, and rear clogs have been solvent washed.
The rims are very true and round. Spoke tension is set correctly.
The bike comes with the original Al alloy rear rack and the Al alloy Greenfield brand kickstand.
The frame head tube ends were faced and the fork crown has been counter reamed - so you get great headset performance and super long bearing surface life
The frame's bottom bracket shell treads have been chased
It is a very clean and functional bike. Has a double butted Cro-Moly frame, which makes for a bicycle with a great ride and is quite light for it's large size.
The bicycle has prefect alignment and has not been crashed or abused. Some minor paint chips but no dents or frame damage.
The bicycle should fit someone around 6 feet.
